Chris McNamara and Rick Neeley are true folk music veterans with roots stemming back to the folk revival years of the 1960s. Performing in those quaint venues of the day, they learned their craft and carried the lessons with them as they forged ahead through life, making their way through careers and families. It's those experiences that make them who they are today. Joining together in a musical partnership only a few years ago, Chris and Rick have been steadily building a following on the folk music scene in Chicago and throughout the region. Known for their big sound and delightful upbeat performances, they present songs from a rick palette that includes traditional and contemporary folk songs, some blues, some gospel tunes, some things borrowed, and some things new. Indeed, both Chris and Rick are credited songwriters but they also take great delight in performing songs by other artists in well crafted arrangements that make them all their own.

Together, they are dedicated to presenting some of their original music as well as preserving and presenting interestingly written, rarely heard folk music.
